We have the biggest squad in the division. If we can’t handle having 3 players away on international duty then I really can’t see what other reason there is for it.

He claimed there would be undue disruption to the squad, then plays our midfielder in 3 separate positions in 40 minutes.

Flanagan isn’t first choice centre half anymore, Burge is more than capable of filling in for McLaughlin - the only issue would be at right back and even then we have so many central midfielders who can take O’Nien’s place. It’s a stupid decision based on fear.
Between the postponement announcement and the match there is two matches
Imagine if we suffered injuries then played Fleetwood without the called up players too.
People are just hammering the club for any reason it's ridiculous.
Scared ffs.

I could be wrong but weren't the three Americans listed on here previously?

How would we ever cope with a couple of injuries with a 30 player squad....

,

I'd say its quite reasonable tbh.

In my case its not just a defeat, it's conformation that Ross has produced an outfit without fight, teamwork or any chance of automatic promotion.

What makes it worse, for me, is that I said that as I trudged out of the play off final.

It's the fact that I talked myself into giving Ross another chance that makes it worse.

Peterborough, Bolton and Lincoln were absolutely rotten in every way ...
... the final straw is always the hardest to bear.

You can't be too hard on yourself there mate.....many of us were prepared to give Ross a chance this season, hoping that he would be able to use the experience gained last year to good effect. It was the sensible thing to do given our recent history of constant managerial change. He joined us at a time of a **** storm and deserved to be given the benefit of a settled pre-season with his own squad.
However, there has been no improvement...indeed the football we're playing is worse than last year. To me,the players don't look prepared. Although the position in the table isn't a disaster,we're well adrift of the top and not looking like closing it down.
As much as I don't want further change,we can't spend another season in this league. The only reason I'm relatively calm about it at the moment is that I'm hoping the takeover will go ahead,be announced very soon and that will bring the changes we so badly need.

Has SD gone to USA yet? As I think it will be completed while he is there

IMO these people won't sit down on Day 1 and think 'right so we need some decent coffee around here, cuter staff uniforms for the ladies and ... errr, oh yeah how about a new manager'.

IMO they've been taking advice for months, identifying targets and having discreet approaches made.

I think the next visit, of our new overlords, will take place soon, in the UK but somewhere other than the SOL.

They've seen it, had reports done on it and had plans made about it. They don't need to see it again so I'd put my money on sonewhere like the intercontinental on Park Lane. It's discreet and easier for them, Donald & Methven and their associated legal representatives, etc.

Didnt realise there was that posh a restaurant by the bus station?

Wheres this USA thing come from?

He was meant to be traveling to Lincoln with the shields branch on Saturday but cancelled it. Some have said that people who travel with them were told he'd cancelled because he was going to the states. Whether that's accurate or not is hard to tell like, there's no actual proof that he's there but there must have been some reason for him to cancel and if lads from the branch are saying that's the reason you've got to assume it's genuine
