Probably, if the council are in the equation now!Would it be best to take the 1-2 week timeframe with a massive pinch of salt?
Edit: Seb all over

Just my two pence worth.
I’m not worried about the cancellation of the talk in cos it could be due to a multitude reasons, some of which has been suggested.
For me it could be any of the below but my opinion is that it’s 1. SD probably assumed all would be sorted by now and they would have the time to sort the talk-in
* they are simply too busy getting this takeover across the line
* Donald may not be the chairmen when the takeover takes place
* The take over is looking shaky so they want to let the dust settle before a talk in
* due to the cancellation of Fleetwood and wants it to take place when more resources are in place to support the night.
Everyone panics when a flat roof is mentioned. Done properly they are a thing of beautyMy brother in law who's a roofer always has a sharp intake of breath when flat roofs get a mention - Strictly pitched for a real waterproof finish he says
Hell we don’t need no rich Americans, let’s just do it ourselvesI will import the steel as its cheaper

Boooo British only (or US)I will import the steel as its cheaper
...and I can deliver energy conservation, carbon reduction, water conservation and waste management.I can assist with Facilities Management once it’s all sorted and @Rocky can deliver parcels.

If the Council were involved I’d certainly be dropping any expected timeframes for progressIf the issue is down to discussions with a council (or councils) and they aren't on a strict deadline then yeah, I could seriously see it dragging on. Mind these lads might eventually put a deadline on it, which I imagine would speed things up somewhat!
But does it mean it hasn't been discussed?Im not itk- however evidence points to
Doesnt mean it has been discussed- they couldnt apply now could they
That's the main contractor and roofing sorted. The new owners have got this easy
I know a bloke with a wheel barrow and shovel for any ground works
You shouldn't use the smilies anyway, 'cos some don't like them, and they'll just think that you're a tit
I use them, mind 'cos they're fecking brilliant . . . . and I'm a tit![]()

There is no way imo that this all hinges on a planning application. They take months and months and can have appeals etc. I'm sure you can check to see what planning applications have been made? Would certainly put this rumour to bed.
The Dell boys may indeed have ambitions to do various things but they will be way down the line.
Imagine trying to put a planning application in on premises you dont legally own...how does that work?
I have only ever been ITK once by chance and that was in regards to Craig Gordon signing when all the media were saying he had talks with us and was travelling to Villa to talk to them. The company my late sponsored SAFC at the time and he was told Gordon had signed and sure enough he had.
Anyway by chance I got talking to someone last night who will definitely know stuff given their business and links to SAFC ever since Reidys days and they have been told announcement on Monday or Tuesday next week. Fingers crossed
