If everybody keeps throwing out the 'I've heard it's going to happen in the next few days', sooner or later somebody is going to hit lucky.

Wednesday I've got it on good authority. Haha
Wrong, its next Sunday. I've got it on good authority from a dog walker who speaks to the local postman and the postman has been to the USA 3 or 4 times, on holiday. It's happening, we just need to be a little more patient.

I think I may have mentioned this to Gordon
Just hope nothing is happening that is cocking this deal up...The silence is deafening at the moment. The waiting is killing me

There's nothing that can cock this up now, everyone wants it to go ahead including the buyers and sellers. The few issues outstanding won't affect the outcome. Methven has been digging his heels in over a few things and won't be there indefinitely. I've been informed that everyone is attempting to get together in the next 3 days.

I see that Prince Abdullah Bin Mosaad Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who I presume to be a member of the Saudi Royal Family has won his bid to become the majority shareholder of Sheffield Utd.
I believe that the Villa owners would like to pour money into THEIR Club, but FFP rules are stopping it.
The same at Leeds.
I suspect that The Premier League doesn't actually want more mega rich Clubs as this might make things too competitive, the way it used to be back when just about any Team could get relegated.

All of which begs the question --- What are we expecting our, HOPEFULLY, new owners to do.

Not a lot this season... if we get promoted..if it is allowed £100m for chumpanship... if promoted again to Premier £250m...that's all

I hope these boys are a bit more savvy than thinking you can buy success or we could end up with a similar mess we were in when the new brooms took over. Just throwing money around is not the answer. Its great news, if we are soon to be in a strong financial position of course, and it gives us the time to rebuild rather than sinking any further, but if it takes time, so be it, if our financial future is assured another season in this league would not be a catastrophe, but it would certainly be more unlikely. OaU .

The trouble is, these days, that the only way to success is to buy it.

I'm sure 4 billionaires will be quite savvy, a point proved when the used an ex-England manager to give an appraisal of the club, top to toe, before purchase.

But, make no mistake, they'll pump in money by whichever means possible. These are sharp people who want things done ...

... they want action and are quite prepared to pay for it.

I love the fact that they describe themselves as “Investment Executives”

Good spot though Mr Washy!
Still lurking but not posting much these days but I thought that was worth a post.

It is probably the company set up to take the club over, but the fact that they have used the Stadium of Light as their address suggests this is all done with the blessing of the club.
