Might be a bit confused here;
SD says they bought it for £40m and maybe values it at that.
£25m was from parachute payment.
£10m was lent to Madrox.
£10m was loaned from Close Brothers.

£5m of own money was put in of which £3m was from Sartori?

Am I right/wrong in thinking that SD/CM/JS are trying to get c£40m from something they only put £5m into a year ago?

Don’t forget Sartori only paid £3 million for a 20% stake. That valued the club at £15 million.

If you’re trying to sell something for a lot more just over a year later when you’re in the same division as when you took over, when the big parachute money is about to run out, then you’d need to be a hell of a salesman to show where that extra value has suddenly come from.

Another RTG who feels left out and come over here
I used to be able to see the crux of things but now taking to long to find out how things are going
And also the spite is also coming over

Spite.

Because he asked about the spelling of a name?

The board is primarily for Sunderland supporters to post about Sunderland ...

... everyone's entitled to post mate.

If SD bought the club for £40m, then sells the club for £40m, he would only get back the money he has put in (e.g. £5m). The other £35m would be paid to whoever SD owed the money to (e.g. club for parachute payments). It's probably more than £5m because the club has probably needed more money since (e.g. to pay for losses, court cases etc).

Not at all mate, Carl Robinson is our former player who was managing in Canada, Karl Robinson is the current Oxford manager, genuine question about which one. Karl Robinson is my personal choice, he plays good exciting football.

Gobby Scouse ****er but Oxford have impressed me everytime we’ve played them

Some of that goes against what Donald said in terms of excellent feedback concerning due diligence and no skeletons in the closet. If it's true, he's in for a rough ride!

I'm clinging to the hope it's all done, hence the Ross sacking.

I was- but for the first time im believing its over- if it isn’t donald is being pit over a barrel - my main concern is that if it fails- we cant afford to go up as we have no budget at all

The only little bit of hope I am clinging to is that Roker report haven’t come out too much with damage limitation mode fed by Donald. I would have thought if it had gone monumentally tits up that he would have had them put out a few tweets to start softening the impending blow.
I must admit I’m 95/5 in the ‘it’s off’ camp but clinging onto a faint bit of hope.

What you are saying here is completely my view. But I’d rather it all come out in the wash than just be alluded to an a public forum.
I always thought our current predicament on the field could have had a bearing (please don’t use our volatile fan base as an argument they should know we are a passionate bunch). The biggest thing that concerns me is the possibility that the numbers weren’t adding up and there were a lot more financial skeletons in the closet than first thought. Big time investors don’t miss a thing. I just want it all over with and see where we are after the dust settles

Yes- this is the fine tooth comb somebody alluded to - yanks do not buy bullshitters

I heard that Madrox pinch those guide dogs with the head slits and also the handicapped boy money boxes.
I.onow for a fact that SD has a bedroom wallpapers in fivers he pinched from the blind centre in Sunderland.
Charlie's bright trousers cause cancer in dogs.
Juan has a Nufc badge tattooed on his calf and is campaigning to shut the local hospital.

If he's only paid £3m for 20% of a £40m club, he'll still owe £5m to someone. Just like SD probably still owes £Xm to the club etc.

Thought that it was reported at the time that the 3m was 20% of the initial payment of 15m with him having to cough up his 20% share on the further instalments as and when they were due?

Or maybe he's having an evening meal with his family like lots of dads do and he is giving them attention rather than a load of morons pestering him on twits r us.

He could well be but in the past he's been pretty quick to call bollix. And who said anything about people pestering him?
