no you see we've lost 5 and brought in 7 so now we have a stronger squad with more competition and we are £40m up on the deals
Eh, I can't be bothered to keep arguing the point, especially as I have nothing against Southampton and frankly I don't give a damn.... but I would like to briefly revisit the earlier point about jealously just to reiterate I am not remotely jealous of Southampton, the fact that they're in the Premier League or the fact that they have a sugar mummy. I am completely behind the current way Portsmouth is currently governed, how much more ethical we are as a club and how much more community focused the club is. I'm enjoying being a Portsmouth fan more nowadays in League 2 than I did when were in the Premier League. You can keep your your sugar mummys (and daddys), I'm not interested
Not a great idea to talk about how ethical PFC is, as people tend to have long memories? Especially those still owed money?
Completely different club
That will be a great comfort to those owed money?

My point is you can't judge the ethical standard of Portsmouth FC under the stewardship of the PST on what has happened under previous owners. It wasn't the PST that didn't pay the creditors.

PFC is dead and buried - it's called Old Co now - just old former owners under investigation for foul play.
However;
PCFC is alive and kicking, It bought the old club out of administration, has taken on the "agreed" commitments of Old-Co and is indeed well ahead of schedule of the repayments, those repayments now being only a few of the former players. All businesses owed funds under the CVA have been paid up.
Time to move on Dell Boy.![]()

Politeness doesn't cost a penny my mum used to say.
So come on you Saints and Pompey for the Conference

So, if you get promoted, it will be the highest league position your [new] club has ever reached?

Good to hear Pompey being run properly nowadays. Although i did enjoy your brief flirtation with the relegation zone last season, i really cant see it happening again, and fully expect you to reach playoff at a minimum this season. I nearly backed you to win the league this season @14/1 earlier in the summer. I just couldnt bring myself to do it, dont think i could stand wanting you to win every week, so looked elsewhere in Div 2.
As for us, i think we may have a slow start while players gel, but reckon somewhere between 9th and 14th is realistic. Really cant see us going down.
