I thought Liverpool looked pretty average. Both sides have changed their lineups for different reasons, but Southampton seem to have done a better job being ready to start the season with their resources. Liverpool are a long way off.

FULL TIME: Old Scummers 2 About to be further asset stripped Scummers 1 (and relegated)!

:emoticon-0102-bigsm....SHOCK ANNOUNCEMENT.......SB3 turns 2:1 away defeat at Liverpool, after a performance which deserved at least a draw, into a relegation-threatening, humiliation. Good to see that we can provide you with your only interest in football, SB3.

Actually, I enjoyed watching my boys in blue win 2-1 as I predicted. But , yes, I do enjoy watching the highlights of trhe Scummers getting hammered again!<laugh> Wonder if you will be bottom at Christmas<whistle>

Congratulations on your victory, and all the more so for mentioning it on this site<applause> Not quite sure how a very narrow 2:1 away defeat becomes a "hammering" but nothing surprises us when it comes to your Saints obsession.

It's a sad fact that SB3's threads are usually the longest on our board, except for the games threads.

Says a lot about Pompey and Southampton fans I suppose.
