    I thought Liverpool looked pretty average. Both sides have changed their lineups for different reasons, but Southampton seem to have done a better job being ready to start the season with their resources. Liverpool are a long way off.

    We could do with a bit more asset stripping. Certainly we need to asset strip a winger and another centre back.

    Actually, I enjoyed watching my boys in blue win 2-1 as I predicted. But , yes, I do enjoy watching the highlights of trhe Scummers getting hammered again!<laugh> Wonder if you will be bottom at Christmas<whistle>

    It's a sad fact that SB3's threads are usually the longest on our board, except for the games threads.

    Says a lot about Pompey and Southampton fans I suppose.
