Murdoch will get sky. He's got Cameron in his pocket.
That's assuming Murdoch doesn't top himself.
His empire is crumbling, and he'll have to let go of his rosebud Rebekah. He's 80 years old and he might not recover.
I'm getting really pissed off with NotW staff's self-congratulatory stiff upper lip dignity in the face of adversity.
Bearing in mind this rag exists for the sole purpose of profit at other people's pain, comments like the following turn my stomach:
Apparently the police are going to seal NotW offices as a crime scene once the scumbags have gone home.
- Alan Edwards (chief sub-editor): "It's a bunch of hard working, talented, honest, decent journalists up there, who have lost their jobs through no fault of their own. We are like a family up there and there's very much that feel that we're all pulling together."
- Colin Myers (editor): "It's a very sad day. I'm thinking about my team of talented journalists."
- Jamie Lyons (deputy politcal editor: "All #NOTW staff at their desks despite losing our jobs 2 days ago. Says all you need to know about their professionalism, pride & integrity"
Estimated sales of tomorrow's edition are up 30%. That will show how low the British public is as its indignation at the hacking of Milly Dowler's phone is shrugged off to grab a souvenir copy of the final edition of biggest blight on society the world has seen.

Still think a mass suicide of F1 fans outside of Sky headquarters would be taken more serious........what?
Please don't follow my lead I'm joking.

I've just had this from the good people of Aavaz.org. It's another petition the government ahead of the vote in parliament to stop Murdoch taking over BskyB for being unfit and improper. There are only 24 hours 'til the parliamentary debate; your signatures could be useful and time is of the essence.

Forget Mifune for a moment: it's sad but if he's dead already, there is nothing to be done…
However, Murdoch and his dastardly plans are very much alive, so visit Max's link and do your duty! Your country needs YOU !
