It was a combination of the players and Bruce that led to the 5-1 defeat I don't understand how you aren't embarassed fo ryourself sitting there claiming that Bruce didn't do his best for your club. The fans were fantastic, I loved every second, good point mate well made. That, again, can't be something you blame Bruce for though. Will have affected the players no matter what Bruce did.

But I agree Bruce "bottled it" in terms of being afraid to go for the win, but that doesn't mean he deliberately threw the derby. He was scared to lose, that is normal.

Clark. Played very well for you before admittedly mugging you off, however anyone honest would say that if it was the other way round and one of our players did it, you'd think he was a legend. So don't be a hypocrite, please.
Chopra. Played a pass that was an inch away from defeating us. He chose the wrong option, but that's an honest mistake, Jones was a fraction away from you heralding Chopra as a hero.
McMenemy. Fair enough, did very badly, but he first managed Bishop Auckland so I love him for that.

No, I think you were right to sack Bruce to try and take the next step, but he took your club forward and some of you refuse to admit that despite all the facts.

He improved your league position every year, you can't claim he didn't take you forward. I happen to agree with you that he should have been sacked after the 5-1, you just don't recover from that. Chopra did not miss on purpose, he made a poor error, but it still almost worked.
