Mirror article discussing teams who could take advantage of a gap left by Chelsea. We are included, but haven't got the write ups that other teams get, so presumably we are regarded as outsiders. If history is anything to go by Leicester will fade, but history isn't everything...though they are a bit reliant on a couple of stars. I think Spurs look hot to trot, but I think we have a good chance of top 6. They mentioned, yet again *sigh*, Mane leaving for United....an ambitious team will never sell one of their best players to a rival in January...why can't the media grasp this.

Apparently...of the teams discussed in this article, we might lose Wanyama to Spurs and Mane to Man Utd. The other teams discussed as potential challengers for the top 4 of course had no discussion of selling players impacting their challenge.

It's a good job I havent been in a radioactive accident :emoticon-0121-angry

I think the media just have a knee jerk reaction that says Southampton = Player Sales. Fans of other clubs don't hang on everything we do, so they get given a quick review of who we are. No evil intent....just lack of imagination.

Be nice if they'd give us a break though, eh.? I mean, there's that Midlands club doing quite well. Ooh, now what's its name... They've a few good players.

Yes, there was a link to this on the Saints OS yesterday (whispers: It's Ralph not Ronald).
 
I obviously don't appreciate this running joke about Ralph Krueger. Sure, the guy doesn't use the minimum of words, but so what.? He gets the message across, and memorably too. Having had him at Saints now for nearly two years I have quite learned why Katharina asked him to become Chairman. And I hope he stays for a very long time too.

I think he's great and so do loads of others. Not sure where this joke is?

Yes, you do, and I do, and so do significant others, but there's a perception that Ralph is a bit of a gasbag and people have a little chuckle occasionally under their breath [witness the Fan's Forum twitter comment]. As far as I'm concerned he can talk for as long he wants. He's perfect for the club at the present stage of development.
