Apparently...of the teams discussed in this article, we might lose Wanyama to Spurs and Mane to Man Utd. The other teams discussed as potential challengers for the top 4 of course had no discussion of selling players impacting their challenge.

If we are being picked on, the best way to respond is by giving the perpetrators a beating.

 

I think the media just have a knee jerk reaction that says Southampton = Player Sales. Fans of other clubs don't hang on everything we do, so they get given a quick review of who we are. No evil intent....just lack of imagination.

Pelle saying he misses Italy and that Serie A is improving, but is happy at Southampton and has a contract till 2017. Not surprising that he is talking up Serie A as he is talking to Italian media, but he will also be aware that he can move back to Italy when his career finishes.

I obviously don't appreciate this running joke about Ralph Krueger. Sure, the guy doesn't use the minimum of words, but so what.? He gets the message across, and memorably too. Having had him at Saints now for nearly two years I have quite learned why Katharina asked him to become Chairman. And I hope he stays for a very long time too.

Yes, you do, and I do, and so do significant others, but there's a perception that Ralph is a bit of a gasbag and people have a little chuckle occasionally under their breath [witness the Fan's Forum twitter comment]. As far as I'm concerned he can talk for as long he wants. He's perfect for the club at the present stage of development.
