It won't make a jot of difference unfortunately because of the prestige of Manchester United and the wages, but if I was a forward player of any flair I would be reluctant to play for LVG.
He is currently wasting one of the most natural young finishers in Martial out wide and has now failed to get the best out of Di Maria & Depay. I do wonder if United do make a move for Mane, that we would want Depay in return.
Koeman is obviously a fan, but there has been question marks on his attitude. Is he a bad kid or have United just not given him a chance to adapt to the premier league?
Would be amusing if we got Depay and he was fantastic for us....not willing to risk swapping Mane for him just so I can laugh at United though.
Sorry FLT, I missed this earlier comment. In the meantime I looked it up. He did play RB for earlier clubs.
