Taking people from higher up (at least in terms of players) hasn’t worked for them for ages. And was never what they did when they were most successful. And Wilcox was from higher - just took one season out for us

Just seen that RM has said Stu is definitely out for the rest of our season, but has a decent chance of being fit to make the Scotland squad and the club will do everything in their power to get him there. It was a quad injury, it turns out.
Isn't he in the final year of his contract? Assuming he doesn't sign a last minute new deal, that would be a real shame to see his Saints career end like that.

Well, on the brightside of our latest pathetic attempt at a final tilt at an auto spot. At least we are in a better place than we were this time 15 years ago when our relegation to league 1 had just been confirmed and administration and potentially going out of business hanging over us. A lot has happened in 15 years!!
