Can't really blame Mike Dean. It was just unfortunate that the ball didn't go out of play. And our penalty shout wasn't nearly as obvious as the one City got today. Ours didn't meet the standard of clear and obvious that is needed to overturn the onfield decision.Mr Dean had a bit of a mare today, that penalty fiasco highlights the faults in VAR, a three minute inquest on what was an obvious decision (in my opinion), our penalty, if it had a VAR check at all, was brief and missed the obvious. You do have to have sympathy for the officials when a bunch of players are simulating and protesting, completely out of order, trying win and influence decisions.
