I dont know what our wage bill is this year but in recent seasons weve been around 10th highest in the PL and 20th in Europe.
We haven't played huge amounts to one player though.

Apart from two relegations, going into administration and Markus Liebherr, we've got a lot to thank him for.

I forget about him sometimes. Shame hes had a couple of major knee injuries and still recovering. 16 months injured now and counting.
I mentioned him a few times earlier in the year as I had assumed the club thought he was coming back and thus sold targett, but as there's been no sight of him or mention by ralph by December I wrote him off as I cant see him playing this season after being out so long.

If he had had any real vision he would have insisted on a St Mary's of 40K capacity, at least.
Rupe's has a lot of flaws, but thank goodness he had the foresight to get us into StM's. We'd just be another Pompey or Oxford by now if he hadn't.
