The noughties started in 2000, ended in 2009.
The next decade, whatever it's called, started in 2010 and ends in 2019.

Yeah but...there was no year 0, so the decades are 1AD-10AD, 11-20...2011-2020. Which is why when we had a big millenium party on 31 December 1999, it was a year early.

I know, you regret asking, don't worry I regret posting it. <laugh>

It's good we signed Sadio Mane against his will ... presume Katharina had her pistol out again.

Hi didn’t want to join us so much that he went on strike to...err...join us.

Revisionist history here I suspect, to up his credit with the fans.

I would like to think that this is him being very clever. Upping credit with the Liverpool fans whilst basically admitting that his ideal career move would have never taken him to Liverpool - and so I assume they are not his end goal

I say this because had he joined Dortmund and been a success he would have been out of Liverpool’s price range and therefore his next move would have been to Bayern or one of the Spanish giants

Also as mentioned above - isn’t it on record that he went on strike to join us? But people don’t like facts they don’t agree with anymore

For me, the start of a new decade is the first moments of a year that ends in 1. But there are 365+ days before that new decade registers up the '1' digit. So it's the time space between the 0 and 1 that is important. The 0 is the start off point. The 1 is the completion. And so on.

I'm sure some agents got quite rich out of his transfers. But I think Sadio can say he got his money's worth.
