Papers talking about Chelsea using Ake as part of a deal for VVD. Obviously swap deals so rarely happen and this is paper talk, but it's an interesting point. Saints are in such a strong position due to VVD not really forcing a move and having a long contract. Imagine if we agreed with Chelsea that if they sell us Ake for £15/20m this summer, they can have VVD for £50/60m next!

Yep, I like Oriol's attitude too. He's sat on so many substitute benches and had time to think about his place in football and how the teams he plays for can cope and achieve. However, reading that article left me with two things to take away. One, I certainly don't think VVD will be leaving this summer unless Saints want to have the record for recouping the most money ever for a defender. And two, this photograph:
