It’s all very quiet on that isn’t it? Considering we’ve known he’s been leaving/he’s left for what, 6 months? Can’t remember the exact time it came out that he was going, but you’d think behind the scenes they would’ve known longer than we have
Maybe the Saints 'Director of Football' role should be decided by a sort of Apprentice/Crystal Maze/Takeshi's Castle gameshow, where contestants have to oversee ever more difficult footballing scenarios, and the one that gets the most victories is given a job alongside Russell Martin.
Seems as if the club are forcing the likes of me out of purchasing tickets for home games. From Liverpool onwards (so Tottenham, West Ham, Brentford), there will be no general sale window. Just another cash grab on loyal fans who can't get to many games, and actually preventative for newbie fans as well, surely? I was hoping to take my 2 kids for their 1st game over christmas; the club can go **** themselves and swivel on my middle finger. Personally, it's just another nail in the coffin for me, and I just won't bother anymore. Not like they're letting me!
Be loads of tickets available next season. You're right though that this moving to mandatory memberships by stealth stinks.
Yeah said the other day I think they've dug themselves a hole with the price rises too as I don't see them dropping them again and crowds will drop substantially next season.
How many season tickets were sold? Seem to remember it being high so not many unsold tickets left anyway for home games
About 24000 i think. Leaves around 3k for remaining home tickets. Pretty sure all home games so far have got to general sale, so it's just the club being dicks and forcing people into memberships.
24k ish I think. Was over 20k last season I believe but I don't think we'll repeat that next season with the higher prices.
