Agree, but good he's under the radar to an extent although I'm sure his ability and potential is known. Good too he didn't settle at Chelsea and is signed until 2026
Could do with giving him a new contract sooner rather than later. Because as he gets older the less homesick he will get and the big clubs will almost certainly start sniffing round him again. It's vital that if he wants to leave in the future, we get a big fee for him for PSR reasons.

Before the January window preferably. I could see him staring games and having an impact before then.

I understand Dibling's contract is a 2+1 with the one being a club option for an extra year. So, you'd think he's basically tied down until 2027 and the earliest we'd be 'pushed' to sell him in the summer of 2026, unless he attempts to kick up a stink sooner than then for any reason

In terms of PL he has had 2 good games off the bench so lets not get carried away and just assume he will play this well all season.

That said, I do think we should offer him a new contract that reflects the fact he is now part of the 1st team. Hopefully the fact he has left and returned once means he won't be the type to force a move.

I've just had a look at the table from last year and I think only the following had a 3k+ allocation:

Leicester
Coventry
Bristol City
Cardiff
Sheffield Wednesday

Blackburn has a bigger allocation but I don't think we took it as we'd ( seemingly) just thrown away automatic promotion.

Then you've got Watford and Liverpool in the cup and Newcastle this season.

So my *** packet maths says it'll start on 7 or 8. As there can't possibly be more than 3000 people on more than 8 away games as we've only had that many games with such an allocation.

On sale Tuesday and starting on 8. Clever bugger ain't I?

Or incredibly sad depending on how you look at it <laugh>

The question now is whether it sells out on 7...

Excellent.

Yeah think I'll go to this one. Not interested in Everton in the cup or the City game and opening game to November is too large a gap between away games for my liking.

Though hopefully we get past Everton and get another one in the cup

I love London games. Unless there are strikes or engineering works I enjoy getting the train/tube. One of the advantages of being in the PL is that there are far more London teams.
