SR want to take the club in a different direction, the existing staff didn’t like that so lots of them are leaving anyone who follows the club slightly closely could’ve told you that The players aren’t up for a relegation fight, watch pretty much any game this season and you could’ve come to that conclusion The positives are that the financing sounds like it will still be there and, as the article says, the inevitable clear out of the squad after relegation should speed up a squad overhaul. Just have to hope they get it right. As I’ve said multiple times I don’t think our recruitment has been that bad since SR have been here. Naieve definitely, but virtually every player we’ve signed I think looks to have something about them. A complete squad overhaul doesn’t fill me with dread
Yeah with 15 signings they haven’t all been good, and ironically whilst people point to youth being a reason we have done so poorly the worst signings we’ve made are all the experienced players. We’ll just have to wait and see, far too early to really have a clue how we’ll do next year

I can sort of see why he might be a bit p***ed off if he has to go back to dysfunctional Southampton after tearing up the league with Burnley and getting promoted.
