Its a nonsense to say we're 5th in chances created. We haven't looked remotely threatening in 80% of our football. I havent seen many games where I have thought we were unlucky. The statisticians can say what they like but all chances are not equal.
Managed to get a bit more info. Apparently, his car tried to go past two other cars but ended up upside down on the side of the road. Definitely Dusan driving. May have done better if he was overtaking on the right, not left.

https://understat.com/league/EPL The en Vogue expected goals stats for the season thus far. This is supposed to rate the quality of the chances created We’re 5 goals down on goals for but we’ve actually conceded 2 fewer than expected. We’re 8th overall in the league for expected goals, so slightly down on 5th overall for chances created. I think these stats show we’re an average team for this league.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...mpton-open-offers-Gabbiadini-Austin-Long.html Not sure if this has been posted? It seems Mr Gao has been talking to someone, odd, as he doesn't seem to want to talk to us?
http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/spo...birmingham-city-boss-steve-cotterill-13927405 Cotterill discussing how he intends to play Gallagher...who had another good game at the weekend. Says that although Sam is 6'4 he doesn't play like a big front man...his style is different to that.
https://southamptonfc.com/matches/2017-18/tottenham-v-saints-2017-12-26/ticket-info Looks like we took the full allocation for Spurs. Tickets subsidised so £20 a pop. Go on sale initially to STH's with 5 aways next Monday. Many from here planning on this one?
MLT said much the same thing. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/11/20/matt-le-tissier-hits-out-at-jose-fonte/
Much as my reaction is to attack Fonte it would pay to listen. I reckon there is still a hangover from selling our best every season and not replacing with exciting enough players. Those who were in the squad 3 seasons ago are bound to feel like we lack ambition. Logically they will all view a move elsewhere a step up even if it's to west ham and relegation. VVD and Bertrand will be next. Problem is, that's not the end of our issues at the club imo. They used to be playing in the shop window now they're not playing at all.
OK it has all gone wrong for West Ham atm, but with their set up (stadium and fan base mainly) they should be aiming higher than where they are and (if run correctly) should have a better chance of regularly challenging the top 6 than us. The big thing there is "run correctly" as their current owners appear pretty clueless. When he left it was a sideways move, but it appeared he had burnt his bridges here and was being offered better financial terms than we were willing to offer so makes perfect sense to me why he would go.
Don't think anyone is saying it doesn't make sense. He was coming to the end of his career and would get more money, but at the present time with only a couple of years left in his career this was not a 'step up' for him. If West Ham do get there at sometime it won't be whilst he is playing.
