Pitroipa is a winger/forward. 27 years old. Burkina Faso international.

We've been watching him according to the French press.

Wasn't on about Pitroipa. I was on about the Mvila rumour and the need for another full back. <ok>

Not sure we need a keeper. Boruc is top 6 premier league standard and we have a capable and improving gazzaniga and Cropper.

CB and backup LB on loan for me

He's been snapped up, but I don't think Akinfeev has yet!

I quite like Pitroipa, he's quite nippy if I remember correctly.

Put on a good show when I watched him in AFCON, but then again so did Mayuka.

Rodriguez & Lallana have been two of our most consistent performers this season. Ramirez, Isgrove, Rowe & Sinclair have not got close to starting or being in the 1st team squad on occasion despite the injury to Guly.
Does anyone think any of those four players has a future with us?

Never seen them play personally. Isgrove turned out absolutely quality on my FM14 though...

Rowe and Sinclair maybe if they continue their progress. Have my doubts about Isgrove and Ramirez I think is gone.

Some come to maturity a little later than advertised. However, I think Saints release academy players who they don't think will be good enough for the Premier League or higher, so it may be just a matter of time before we see those players you have suggested. What I'm saying is, is that when Poch talks about being confident in the quality of our youth players he means that most/all of the existing development squad are no more than a season or so away of being capable of coming into the first team. That's a fair few players.

Yep a few people were writing off Targett because he is older then Shaw.

It's surely only weeks or months between them though isn't it..? I actually thought Targett was younger. Don't tell me, I'll go and check.

    EDIT: Targett - 18.09.95 Shaw - 12.07.95.

Even with my poor arithmetic that makes Shaw older a wee bit. :)

But he has Fox ahead of him so he's still crap. :p
Some people don't seem to get that players mature at different ages.

Fox is Shaw's mentor. Just wait to see what he can do with that younger whipper snapper Targett. :)

And yeah, you're right. Can we say that Rickie took a wee while or did everybody miss his quality..? Probably a bit of both. I'll give credit to Bristol Rovers for helping to reveal some of it. Pardew the rest.

Was watching how Aaron Hunt was doing, but lost interest when his team were on thier way to a hiding. A few decent through balls but nothing that you would not expect from current players
