Based on current form my England squad would be:

3 GKs, 7 DFs, 9 MIDs, 4 STs

Forster (Celtic), Hart (Man City), Ruddy (Norwich)
-------------------------------------------------
Baines (Everton), Cahill (Chelsea), Jagielka (Everton), Davies ('ull), Shaw (Soton), Dawson (Spurs), Gibbs (Arsenal)
-------------------------------------------------
Gerrard (Liverpool), Wilshere (Arsenal), Lallana (Soton), Barkley (Everton), Townsend (Spurs), Carrick (Man Utd), Huddlestone ('ull), Britton (Swansea), Milner (Man City)
-------------------------------------------------
Defoe (Spurs), Sturridge (Liverpool), Rooney (Man Utd), Lambert (Soton)

Love the 'no RBs' plan. You are Graham Taylor and I claim my £5.

My starting XI would be:

Harper
Rosenior - McShane - Davies - Figueroa
Koren - Huddlestone - Livermore - Brady (if fit) or Boyd
Boyd/Aluko/Gedo
Sagbo

A good match for both Brady and Aluko to be a part of. Let's hope we can get them back in time.

Koren for me is not affective on the right of mid field, if Aluko doesn't make it I would put him behind Sagbo in Aluko position.

Elmo Huddlestone - Livermore - Brady (if fit) or Boyd

This I think will be tougher than Everton. It'll probably 1-0 either way. Probably Southampton.

I think we'll go 5-4-1 and try and stop them from scoring, rather than go for a win.

Alukos looking a doubt for saturday, but then theres yet another ****ty two week international break

Made of glass he is

How many games has he played in 2013? Probably a grimsby fan could count on one hand

Internationals piss me off, we should organise a couple of friendlies at the KC instead. Seriously, why haven't they done this?

Because a lot of our players go to internationals?

Yeah, but there's just as many that don't isn't there? It wouldn't just all be youth/reserves, so why not organise a friendly at the KC against somebody half decent to keep match fitness up/give us fans who don't want to watch a pointless friendly something to do.

Got to remember that we don't own the KC.

The reserves still play, and teams such as North Ferriby still play, so it isn't like there is nothing on locally...

I think it will entirely depend on injuries. E.g. if we have Brady and Aluko back, we should be looking a a 442. Ideally I would like to see

Harper
Rosie McShane Davies Figgy
Elmo Thudd Livermore Brady
Aluko Sagbo

Koren and Quinn\Boyd for Aluko and Brady if they start to flag.

Curious facts about Soton's games so far.

They've only played 2 games out of 10 against top-half opposition (admittedly getting a good 4 pts in the process).

Compare that with our 5 games.

They're a decent team albeit in a false position and will drop down the table in the coming weeks (after playing us they have Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City
in the next 4 games).

Lets hope their slide starts on Saturday.....

Thinking about it, you could have a team of:

Jakupovic

Rosenior Faye Chester Davies Dudgeon (if fit)

Boyd Livermore Koren

Proschwitz Graham

Subs: Harper, CJM, McLean, Henderson, Fletcher, Wilson, Topliss

I mean it's something.

They'll be gunning for all three points considering their next 3 opposition.

If Ferriby are at home when City aren't playing I usually go down there, but I know where I'd rather be on a Saturday afternoon. There must be some other clubs from like Holland or Belgium we could play, plus it'd give a few of the youngstes a chance to play with the first team.
