I know the answer is on the forum somewhere but how do i get to see the pics people post on here, i just get ...

Are you browsing on a phone? I get that when browsing on a phone. It's a bug which has gone unsolved for months, seemingly.

Hi,
hardly ever post on here but I do have to say that we need to be careful what we´re wishing for with Murat Yakin, it may seem as though he left Basel by mutual consent but it´s not all it seems.
In fact there was massive unrest in the team under him, Streller, Valantin, Frei were all on the verge of leaving through his `park the bus´style. The team itself couldn´t help winning the Swiss league but was mainly put together by Thorsten Fink. Most people in Basel think they won the league despite Yakin and not because of him.

That's very interesting... thanks for the insight. I'm surprised about the "park the bus" idea because I got anything but that impression from watching them in Europe, but then I've never seen a league game of theirs.

Interesting to see a negative point of view on him. I was starting to believe the hype that post has made me realise there is no guaranteed solution and anyone who gets the job is going to take time to settle and get results. Plenty of bumpy times ahead but let's face it we've been through much worse.

I knew this all along, that's why I'm 100% behind.....

Gaizka Garitano!

Garitano might be a great manager, but I don't want him regardless of ability. He needs to stay where he is.

It would be like someone poaching Adkins from us right after we got promoted. Only if instead of having Lambert, Fonte, Davis, etc. Adkins had gotten us promoted with Surman, Lloyd James, etc. And we had to replace him with someone else from Southampton.

Yeah I know, it's more in jest as most people have never heard of him.

What he's done at Eibar is nothing short of incredible, and they have no debt. Really hope they remain in La Liga for at least 2 seasons, and they need Garitano for that to happen I suppose.

They need a new stadium too don't they? Hope they manage to get everything sorted out in time, would be a real shame if they weren't allowed to compete.

Eibar need €1,5million in order to meet the demands of some weird Spanish FA expenses regulations, and they are 40% there. They need a bit more than Xabi Alonso saying a few words in a magazine though. They are selling shares worth €50 Euros.
