All of the aboveWhat sort of stuff @Bob the Mackem, out of interest? Are we talking cars, gold plated keys to the bogs etc. or pencil sharpeners, "you don't have to be mad to work here" signs and safc mugs?
My dad worked there for 42 years. On the face then maintainence.I worked at Dawdon as a weighman on both the road and the rail sides and one shift started at midnight taking the various belt readings for the day's production then walking down in the pitch black to post them in the offices, typically 1-2am in the morning. There'd be lads diving about in the shadows when they heard someone coming in case I was security but when they realised it was just me (or one of the other weighman depending on shifts) they'd come over for a bit crack on. They were all sound, just helping themselves to a bit here and there to make ends meet.
New sponsors?I don't know why, but suddenly I fancy a pint of Guinness . . . .

I didnt have any idea what to do, wouldnt let my Nana or Grandad near it, my dad came around and said dont worry, I am just going to have a look at it, he then yanked the zip down! I have never been able to figure out how anything so small could get stuck in a zipIt hurts when you do that then you realise you have to pull it down to get off it
Not in the outside netty, but I did end up going to the doctors with said condition when very young. Skin was trappedThat's all well and good but did you ever nip your knob in your zip in a cold outdoor netty?
I remember climbing through the fence of my local colliery rail line and going onto the tracks. We put six inch nails on the track and waited for the train to come past and cut them in half!!
