personally, i choose to think the lads are passing on what they have genuinely heard, they may turn out to be correct or they may find out it was bollox but i just cannot see why anyone would get so het up about it, i mean, it is hardly as if they are asking for cash for each bit of info, they stand to gain absolutely nothing from passing it all on yet some feel the need to dig, dig and dig again hoping to 'trip them up', honestly it is so damn childish from adults.

Some immature people just can’t accept that someone else has connections they don’t have and get information they don’t get. Just accept it you lot - no matter how much you know, there’s always someone who knows more!

I like him. He is a character; a bit odd, but a character. Where would we be without the characters of this world? Shields used to have a number of characters: hacky-baccy, and the bloke who used to live in the gents toilets at the Westoe fountain bus stop and wouldn’t let anyone in to have a piss because it was his home. Admittedly, some of them were alcoholics, which is tragic, but in my opinion they added a bit of colour to the town.

Just been woken up by a noise outside, looked at my phone and there's a message that we can expect news of a new sponsor, bit controversial ...

... probably renaming the SOL, The Newcastle Brown Stadium <laugh>


That's about all it said plus a link to an Arsenal player I've posted on the transfer thread. Back to bed <doh>

A betting firm called SpreadEx was mentioned over the road for the shirt sponsor. They sponsored Burnley apparently
