Sickens me to think I was in the same pub as him once let alone have a chat with him. He was a smug ****er that day, strolling around the beer garden with a cigar and **** suit, lording it.
Remember him
In a pub down Doncaster, before we knew what he was like. Lording it over folk and accepting free drinks off fans. Nial Quinn would have bought a round,

My latest annoyance is with KLD. I'm floating a bit like a butterfly on this one.

I HOPE that he's waiting for the chancers to reduce their asking price. As he knows there is no way what is on the table is attractive to anyone.

Why buy 39% of a football club and not be able to run it? People don't buy football clubs to sit and watch.

So it either needs to be a family member buying, or him.

If he wants to limit how much money he is putting in, he also needs to give up some of his control. He can't have his cake AND eat it

Im happily (and maybe blindly) of the completely opposite view. The people who can’t have their cake and eat it are those that bought the club using it’s own money, spoiling a number of opportunities of serious investment through their greed, and now want out with a decent wedge in their pocket.
My view is that KLD or his family will take up the shares, but only at what they deem to be a realistic price and probably when the chancers greed has finally caught up with them and they aren’t able to meet their obligations anymore. They’ll come cap in hand for their shares to be sold rather than being ruined financially with the millstone of SAFC hanging round their necks

my only point is that he wants to share the investment requirements, share the risk, but not share control

I’m perfectly happy with that as I love how he controls the club. BUT if it continues for too long it will restrict investment into the club, as nobody will want to be a minority shareholder with no voice

the only hope is he buys them or his family or an acquaintance, who is happy for him to run the club, does.

He said to a mate of mine its not the cost of their shares, its more they got him involved in the club, and now because of fan pressure they are ducking out.
He feels let down.
Both JS and CM brought him on board, and although JS has said he will keep his shares for now.
