KLD has told the chances they can have 2/3 of the original offer, the are trying to up the price . They did it with KLD last time by stringing MG consortium along just so KLD would think he had competition and almost ruined the deal.
KLD has these chancers over a barrel, they have an obligation to pay their percentage of the outgoing in reflection to share percentage. There is no way they would be able to afford these cost in the championship.
They have to sell, but even now they are still trying anything they can to get as much money as possible

I haven't got a clue who Bob's source is and although I enjoy reading the speculation from all posters, I think it's important to maintain some perspective.
I just remembered something that Bob posted which seemed pertinent and I tagged him to see if he would respond.

This has deja vu written all over it, Methven leaks tidbits here and there, prematurely leaks the deal is done and they’re gone. A few more leaks and they decide they don’t like the deal anymore and fancy a bit more attention and money.

only one way this is heading IMO. The “sale by start of the season” line is alarm bells ringing.

I saw that quote aswell, I do think that what Bob posted is what he was told, I do think it's strange that KLD has dropped his offer to 2 thirds of the price agreed, knowing that there are 2 other bidders that has met their valuation.
I'm sure KLDs team would not want just anyone buying shares in the club when they have the option, it doesn't make sense and looks more and more like Methven PR **** trying to get an extra gold coin

Why does he need to, ?, whoever it is they will not have much if any say.
KLD knows they have to put in 40% of wages stick £6 mill in Escrow to cover 16 month expenditure.
So it cost him nowt.
He with JS has control, whoever comes in, is just after a quick spin.
They will probs not get the shares, but they might try to bring in a legend to front it.

They agreed a deal with KLD who renaged on it.
They then had an agreement with an individual, he then decided he wanted a change to set up.
That went tits up.
So its down to whoever comes up with the money 1st.

Why would the other group need to increase their offer because the other group has gone public, to massive mockery about it being unrealistic and fans in uproar.

Not sure how that would translate to other parties saying, 'we need to up our already accepted bid'.

I can imagine Methven thinking it's something that we would all really like the idea of.
