That's canny. Big decision though. I like Sanderson and think he could be great in a three with Flanagan and Wright. Also think vokins, Hume and mcfadzean all probably suit wing back better than full back. Power and onien probably the same on the right. Trouble is , for all the good things about the formation, I'm not convinced in central midfield. Leadbitter is canny in a 3, not so sure in a 2. If we had a strong central midfield I'd say 343 all day long . As it is I'm not sure

Wright is out for 2-3 weeks, LJ said he might not make the Wembley final which is a sickener like

I said at the time what a cracking advertisement to peak the interest of the right buyer.

Yep. Always said it as well. The mags were laughing. They ****ing loved it. Crying on Netflix etc. Sadly for them it also highlighted the passion of the fans to a lot of people. No surprise that KLD has already mentioned how other cities just can't get the attendances and passion that we can, and how he changed from previously saying he'd never be involved in football again until we came up. He was watching and wasn't laughing. Was told before (and presumably no harm in mentioning it now) that when FPP were interested, they were all avid watchers of it as well. Not just that, but their wives enjoyed it and wanted them to buy the club, they were arguably more into it than the fellas were. Fulwell73 played a blinder and brought us to the forefront of the attention of people who can do serious things at this club.

My mate Mr Tonna lives there. He's a billionaire we worked for at a place called Ffynone Mansion in Wales. He sold up and wanted us to go to work in Lugano but we thought the flights home would be a fuss. I really regret not going now tbh, if I'd known you were there it would've tipped the balance.

It’s a great place. Flying back isn’t too bad (ignoring COVID). About an hour to Malpensa then regular flights to most UK cities.

If you ever come over to visit your mate let me know. I’ll happily buy you a few beers or Spritz’s as a thanks for the updates over the past few months. I don’t post much but have been reading this thread and really appreciated updates from yourself and the others.

Cheers mate, Mr Tonna is engaged so we may come for the wedding.

I'll keep you posted.

We'd have had to have flown to Zurich then on from there, seemed a clart on but I regret it now.

Be great if they come back for our potential promotion

It also showed how good looking we are, especially the drunk bloke outside Wembley shaking hands with Stewart Donald.

This takeover could be a big deal. Fulwell73 have always said a third season isn't happening yet but might do in the future . If KLD gets us doing well, I fully expect a follow up, hopefully with a better ending
I see comments on Facebook all the time from people all over the world who ask when we are coming back to Netflix.

All good mate. Won't forget how good mates like you, and people that I don't know in real life from here, were when I was bad. Had a follow up blood test and my numbers are "going the right way", and the cancer hasn't spread to my lungs which was the main worry. Contained in the thyroid, it's out now, and signs are the remaining thytoid cells are dying off, sounds like I've dodged a bullet. All of a sudden Sunderland are looking good, the takeover is done, and everything is rosy. We need a not606 piss up like, especially on a weekday since I've got the bairn on a weekend. I'd definitely be there. We're definitely getting a pint when we're allowed if nowt else!

Quinn was a great partner but I have absolutely no doubt that Phillips would’ve scored goals regardless.

He was a fantastic finisher regardless of what Quinn brought to the side.

Quinn'y is above Phillips in my book. Always was and still is.
I'm not knocking Phillips and tbh took no notice of what he's said.
He's a great memory and entitled to his opinions, I would like to think he has the clubs interests at heart.
But Niall Quinn goes down as my all time favourite.

Marvelous. Wonderfully put and will look forward to it.

Had no idea about this but pleased to hear things are looking positive and hopefully on the mend. Awful disease that takes no prisoners so really uplifting to hear a positive story about it. All the best for the future with it.

Thanks, I should be okay mate. Might have been unlucky to get it at 36 year old, but thankfully it was a type with a 97% survival rate so, now they know the surgery has been a success, it shouldn't affect life expectancy. Gave me one hell of a shock mind, I think we all just assume we'll live till our mid 80s. All of a sudden my mind is thinking I've got a 6 year old who needs me and a step son just reaching 18 who I want to see settled in life. I won't worry about the little things again. Health, family , and aye, enjoying yourself watching your club, that's what it's all about. I'm lucky compared to so many more who go through so much more, going to try and raise a lot of money for those who aren't as fortunate in the future
