I would be surpsied if we didn't see some sort of official statement from the club very soon.
Could the delay have actually been that it was incumbent on Donald repaying FPP - and he's only done it in the last 24 hours?
Hopeful that's the final hurdle they had to clear before they could officially announce.

Not at all, the payment would've been arranged weeks ago.
The EFL checks were completed weeks ago.
The script was typed for the announcement a fortnight ago and that is a fact.
Unless there's another appointment, not already arranged, there's nothing left to do ...
... except bloody well announce it.
