It's not clear who has paid it, sure GOM will know when final figures are issued and hope it shows SD, CM, and JS have paid it.

I don't want to appear Smug but there seems to be a bit of padding in the Times article.
If the EFL haven't approved KLD there's no way he'll have sent a cheque off for £10m imo.
However, I was told the EFL approved it last Wednesday in which case the loan can be paid off.
Whatever the case this is all great news.
tbf The Times article doesn't say KLD paid it - just that it will be paid as part of the transaction. It doesn't say if that will be by KLD or SD. It reads a lot like educated guesswork rather than the output of fresh investigation.
