He's quoting the tweet which contains the question, rather than replying to it. This way his answer goes on the timeline rather than just on the asker's replies. He's basically doing it so more people see him and his answers.

Not sure why people so critical of Nixon. He hasn’t got a bad record when it comes to Sunderland. People on here were saying it was done a month or so ago and he said it wasn’t as far advanced as people were saying.... looks like he was right. Fingers crossed done soon though.

I have clarified that already. It was agreed then Krill suddenly wanted more. Hence Rodwell saying there is a will to get it done. They have met, they have changed the % and it's been agreed.

Semantics a lot of time, especially on the words used when I receive a message and then relay it.

But, as always, can always rely on good folks like yourself to try and pick holes.
