I get that, that’s what I was saying. He’s little to zero say, but I resent him making money on us. By us doing well, he makes more. Obviously I love the club more than I hate Donald, but it sticks in my throat that he will make a canny profit should we do well after the mess he’s made of the last few year

Agree with what you’ve said, but also for me it’s the fact he said he would leave when he was no longer wanted, but he just won’t go. Him and Methven are just hanging on like leeches.

It's a shame that Donald and Methven so publicly flaunted the FPP takeover which makes this all seem so drawn out. Throw in the delays caused by the pandemic, plus the poor start to the season, and it's the perfect storm isn't it.

We currently have a failed owner who knows the income losses are slowly strangling him. Ironically the buyers know the longer he's gasping for breath the better deal they can get. It may be frustrating for us but I'm consoling myself that a better deal means less of Donald in the future ...

... I've even had it suggested that he might sell up entirely. He's made the mistake, as Derby may have done, of doing a deal with sharp operators who now want their pound of flesh.

In that context our owners arrogant comments, about our inability to understand business, have spun on their heels, walked back and kicked them right in the bollocks.

So much for the daft lad from Leadgate marra.

Lot of sense in that post and very well put.

I’ll offer my services if there’s a role for turning on heel and administering the boot to the nads of Donald and Methven, I fear however that I may be waiting in an already very long queue.

You concur Mr Smug?

He knows more detail than me mate and it's first hand ...

... but I've been happy for a week now and this just reinforces that feeling <cheers>

I've been out for the Christmas food shop and got his text, dropped a nice bottle of dark rum in the trolley on the strength of it. I'm now happily waiting for the news to break and think it will be on Sky first.

Fantastic news mate. I normally don't ask too much, I just wait, but when I seen the two comments, I thought I'd just check in mate.
