I can't work out what FPP are up to tbh.

Tbh Smug I can see they want a foothold of some sort in the English game but without paying an initial kings ransom and playing a long game. In addition they were originally part of a bail out loan structure for the EFL before the Govt and the Premier league knocked their heads together.....they want to be sitting at the top table with a club or clubs through different company structured vehicles by the looks of it and it doesn't seem like they are blinking (if whats been said is true)

Shouldn't the EFL have asked Wimbledon what they thought about it? Maybe they weren't too keen to play under these circumstances. In such rare cases as this, if both teams are against it, they should postpone it without the worry of any sanctions

I believe both teams should have told them to f*ck off. I do not believe the EFL would dare issue any sanctions for something such as this.

If I was FPP and still wanted the club but didn't want to pay the price that Dreyfus is paying I would just sanction the deal so long as the loan was kept in place. Dreyfus might agree to this and not just pay off the loan as less cost now, and he may see them a useful future partner.
No chance. Either get paid off in full, or sit and wait. Donald can't sell without agreement regarding the loan. All that happens is pressure ramped up on Donald to sell or they get the club, win win

Whatever it's is it's a mutual agreement between them and Drefus
FPP have a say in the sale and Dreyfus wouldn't buy unless he was happy with their involvement
This can only be a good thing the more people with money and influence at the table the better
Once this is completed would not be surprised to see them converting the loan to shares
As fans we want everything sorted yesterday but this is a project for them
If the new structure is just the start then I think we are in for some interesting times

Just had a message saying Dreyfus is absolutely certain, FPP haven't been paid off and the only delay is how much of the club is relinquished by Donald.

Take it or leave, I trust this man but you don't know him so it's just second hand info for you ...

... and this is just an Internet forum.

I feel reassured but don't expect anyone else to feel that way.

With the unexpected break in games. Now would be an ideal time for it to complete. Would enable everyone at the club to gear up for the January window.

Its all conjecture really but it looks like KLD and FPP are making SD sweat and are preparing to take club off him and relinquish him of his shares whether KLD gets all the shares or how it will be structured we don't know but if SD played games with FPP last year then maybe they are giving him a lesson from some real buisnessmen

Yeah, I’m starting to think FPP aren’t in this for anything other than profit, regardless of the journey to that profit.

Would they happily derail this takeover if it meant they got the club on a loan default at the end of the season, dropped in a few million, got promoted and sold it off again. They are shrewd businessmen and not here for the love of the club.

It could be that they're looking long term at things like digital rights and streaming? Similar to what Sky and NTL did in the late 90s/early 2000s and get shares in clubs as a way to influence digital rights? Just a thought.

At the end of the day FPP are in it to make money while putting as little of their own personal effort into it.
Had they got the club last year they would be doing similar plans to this by getting people to run the club for them.
Worst case scenario for them is they make a couple of million on the interest of the loan.
Say they block the sale and donald runs out of money they get all the assets but have to put the effort in to make a profit.
Or they like the look of KLD and JS who have the funds, they could stick around with their loan and maybe one day convert it into shares and hold a small amount. They have potential to earn far more than the loan interest even being a minority shareholder. All while other people go round doing the work.

The last info I got and it was a contact of fuhrman was that he will invest heavy once promoted, as will host of other parties.....but now want different guy running club not Donald...but dinald wont relinquish 15pc as that will be 15pc of a big asset once in premier.
To be honest, if it is a host of other parties as you have been told, that just creates confusion when decisions are made re future management appointments and club direction. While the idea of lots of rich people owning or club sounds appealing I would doubt it will be what any future owner would want.
