Good luck to him .

It will be different here. All clubs have their demands, but up here , the spotlight is always on. If he can properly handle that, which many can't it, gives him a chance.

Pretty clear that the structure, expectected culture and so on are all going to change, as prehab and others have said for some time now.

The other way was a dreadful failure. So nowt wrong with new thinking at all.

Dragged out to Meadowhall this morning for more presents and I overheard two Wednesday fans talking about pulis, both of them wanted Johnson instead of pulis and saying it’s too late now as he’s gone to Sunderland and it’ll be a great signing for them. If that’s what other teams fans think of him then it’s good enough for me

I can guarantee the people whinging about Johnson would prefer the dour hoofball of Pulis.

Another step forward and another good appointment I think. Everything points to a much brighter future for us.

Great Post, and have similar thoughts on it myself.

To add to it, I would say he's attacking in his style, not frightened to change things, and gives youth a chance. Three things Parkinson was criticised for.

Before his sacking, Johnson was the longest serving manager in the league above!

If our new model is the qualities he brings, then exciting times are ahead. I think some fans forget where we currently are when they say they are underwhelmed by him. He's probably the best we can get for the structure we will have in place.
I can guarantee he is underwhelmed by us.
