Thought he was acknowledged as the quickest player at the club?Gooch doesn’t have pace?
He’s definitely quick.

Yeah i looked at your stats after your post then mine lol.
Couldn't believe over a year had gone so quickly.
Think I've been a member of rtg ten years but didn't post for years.
Am sure i joined another. Maybe it was here![]()
.Great post marra, especially the bit about player's being sold each season, would undermine any managerMy thoughts on Johnson were neutral, not blown away with excitement but not gutted.
Part of the criticism directed toward him is that he couldnt get get Bristol City over the line and they always fell short.
A little delve into their transfers is telling. In each of their seasons under Johnson they made a handsome profit on transfers.
In his last season he wasnt given a penny to improve the squad whilst they again paid a profit from sales. There was a pattern of them selling their best players each summer. Difficult to push a team on in the Championship in those circumstances. Made even harder when every years theres 3 teams coming down with parachute payments.
It looks pretty much nailed on that Lee Johnson will be the next manager. I've got my head around it now.
I'll get behind him and give him a fair crack and ultimately he'll be judged on performances and results.
You do have your tin hat at hand?I tried to join there a few times over the years, but it wouldn't let me.
Im sure quite a few of you on here are glad i couldnt now.

Agree with all points except Gooch. I'd murder him over 100 yards in my slippersGooch does have pace like. Pace does matter. We need more in central midfield and we need a striker with some. You can’t be ****e with pace obviously but it’s better than being ****e without it. Defenders are scared of it and currently defenders aren’t scared of us.
Same here marraNah not me, i liked it here and stayed, don't go on rtg much now.
Don't dislike the site mind and some cracking members over there too
Your good craic mate.

Your good craic mate.
He's only 5'6 apparently but Charles Manson was only 5'2 and he was a charismatic leaderJohnson's only a small fellow isn't he. Anyway, enough of my personal problems!
LJ will get 100% support from me. As will KLD, JS, KS etc etc.

Thanks mate.

Stats only tell part of the story though. Look at Nigel Pearson’s stats. A win rate of 50% at Leicester but only 21.4% at Southampton and Derby, 35% at Hull and 32% at OH Leuven. Clearly the specific conditions- the set up etc at different clubs- play a big role in the way a manager performs. You should put your stats up on here like you did over the road. There’s quite a few posters on here who are being overly positive IMO regarding this new manager.
Your stats will bring them down to earth. Oh I know I’m a miserable so and so etc but we are all entitled to our opinion and I see nothing to enthuse about concerning Johnson.
Well I can't sit here yapping arl day like yous lazy bastids.
I've got 40 pints of bitter to bottle before kick off
Cheers![]()
.There is loads of guess work going on but we haven't got a clue about the financial details of the takeover.Technically yes.
What's the current split?
Donald - 75%
Sartori - 20%
Methven - 5%
It's changing to (IIRC)
KLD - 40%
Sartori - 40%
Donald - 15%
Methven - 5%
So, between Sartori, Donald and Methven, they will have 60% of the shares, but the "new ownership" really is KLD and Sartori with Donald a silent minority shareholder. In reality, he's only keeping hold of his shares so he can sell them at a profit when we eventually return to the PL
So, you were wrong.
You were posting all of this around September/October only around a dozen weeks ago.
It looks quite embarrassing now tbh.
It was done a day or so ago mate.Agreed to take it according to SSN
