John Cooke was sacked weeks ago. The takeover wasn't on the horizon then.
Sacked while Donald, Sartori and Methven owned the club. Those 3 will make up 75% ( not shares ) of the people who will own the club going forward.

We can call it a takeover but it’s a bit underwhelming when you look at who’s staying involved. This club needs a clean sweep, out with the old and in with the new. Let’s hope SD & CM take a proper back seat in this and Juan comes in with KLD full of ideas and enthusiasm.

No, this is a lot different, the money alone behind makes us the richest we’ve ever been behind us, but this time with people who have big family’s and football experience behind them, I have a mate who’s about 24, could talk your ears off about football age is just a number

Cheers Magnus.

Is there any further word on additional investors? When the KLD news was leaked there were rumours of others involved wasn’t there?

People are getting confused of the share allocation, Madrox own 100% of Sunderland, SD owns 74% of Madrox, Sartori owns 20% of Madrox and CM owns 6% of Madrox.

The new (alleged) share distribution of Madrox is going to be, SD with 15% of Madrox, CM with 5% of Madrox and (a new consortium with a new holding company) with 80% share of Madrox. The new consortium company will have a 50% share holding split between Sartori and KLD

Madrox will still own 100% of Sunderland
That’s cleared that up thanks. Need to lie down now my head hurts <laugh><laugh>

The amount of new members making out they’re ITK, I feel sorry for them signing up just to try to look important

They're obviously people who spend their lives jumping from Twitter to forums to social media like a bluebottle in a conservatory.

Worthless people who no one notices when they fall to the floor and are hoovered up.

I don’t doubt age being just a number. I am finding it hard to be positive about the rumoured changes though, will have to wait and see what materialises.

Staff? It’s an amateur podcast mate in many literal senses.

Methven had the smallest stake in the club and was the most influential character around the club until his mouth got too big even by his standards.
Influential? How? Who did he sign? Which contracts did he negotiate? What input to the Academy did he have? Genuinely interested.

It’s a very important appointment I agree, but for me the next manager is even more important for where we are right now, we must improve dramatically and start picking up points straight away or it’s another year in division 3 which can’t be allowed to happen.
If I’m honest I’m hoping for the naming of sd before a manager, at least we know what direction we will be taking. Over the last couple of days and the two names that have been mentioned both are completely different, I cannot understand going from poyet to cowley (if it’s true about the brothers)

What would happen I believe

If it’s set up like this

Sartori and KLD will hold 100% in a new company that’s holds 80% of Sunderland/ Madrox, this will help them bring new share holders on board with out the input of Donald or CM

this makes sense - I assume they are specifically buying Sartori’s existing shareholding into Madrox and 60% of Donald’s.

Must admit after yesterdays highs and lows was hoping today would bring a bit of cheer
but I'm just confused. Said it earlier but how can we go from Poyet and Schwartz to Cowley
People are pissed off and desperate for something positive hence all the bickering tonight.
Would like a nice orderly transition
Takeover DOF tomorrow
New manager Friday
I am aware that Poyet has said he doesn’t fancy it, but has Schwartz dropped out as well or said anything about it?

I see slot saying sartori will sway with Donald,
Been a few rumbles the had a falling out and that’s why sartori has kept his distance

A lot of people seem to have alluded to Donald falling out with both Methven and Sartori but the latter two still being close.

from what I can tell, the majority of people on either side of the pessimism fence all seem to agree that Donald is gone and will have no involvement. The pessimists just seem to think that it’s Methven who will be calling the shots on behalf of Sartori and KLD who will both be absent sugar daddies. Which I think is nonsense, as they will have the £££ now to bring in proper people to make decisions - like the sporting director.

Rodwell gets a lot of stick but he was just doing what Donald told him to do on a shoe string budget, he’ll have sartori/kld and a new SPD to answer too now
Any news on the SPD mate, lots of people saying swartze the other day
