2.15 ppg first season with Lincoln so it's not the best he's done.

Edit: Wait you said league, he's not exactly had a chance to do much more than he has in the league.

He's had two full seasons in the league with a club he'd brought up to match that 2.15 and he didn't. That's enough time to me to judge him on that metric tbh. If you disagree, fine. But he does need to be hitting those numbers to get us up so if he does get the job, that will be what I judge him on, same as I did with Parky.

I dont get why people assume that because Poyet has said no the new people in charge have said screw it cant be arsed, Rodwell you pick the manager
Cowley is certain a Rodwell pick we just got to hope it works out

Hells Belles though I'd logged on to the wrong forum
Some right fannies on here tonight
Nowts happened yet but loads happy to think the worst and weep and wail about it

No managers been announced the takeover hasn't even been announced
Even if it is Cowley lets just wait for the bigger picture.

If the takeovers off and we're stuck with CM and Rodwell making decisions I'll join you
but for Christ sake give these new lads a chance they haven't even got their foot in the door yet.

Why are we staying in League 1?

He has constantly and consistently got teams promoted, and then last season took a team with 1 point from 7 games up to safety, with a run of form which would have seen them finish 9th if spread over the season.

He could be ****ing brilliant and our fans would do well to get behind him and stop acting like kids who thought they were getting a shiny present.
Absolutely class <laugh> 100% spot on

You’re right, I’ve just notice nqd posted it was cowley then disappeared. Is he playing the twat

It stinks of donald and his cronies still calling the shots, so infact this takeover is a waste of time non event. Poor state of play considering whats been spouted on here for months.
But sadly, Donald and his Cronies ARE still in charge, because the takeover hasn't happened yet. Despite all the predictions and forecasts, the deal is still not complete, so should Donald have hung on to PP until the club was finally taken over? Nobody really knows how far along we are with the buy-out, maybe it has stalled, but it was really important to get rid of our **** manager and stop the rot. Having hit a snag with Poyet, the show still must go on, so we move on to the next name on the list, if that's Cowley then so be it. If the incoming buyers want to call the shots, the best thing they can do is complete the ****ing deal, and get on with running the club. Until they do that, we are owned and run by Mr. Donald. Whatevers going on behind the scenes, I'm happy to have got rid of PP, now I'll be happy to get behind Cowley and support him in trying to get out of this ****ty league. My realistic target now is the playoffs, anything above that is a bonus. If we can get ourselves into the top 4 by the turn of the year, anything is possible. If we have new owners by the time the window opens, then hopefully we can find a way to improve our squad by hook or by crook, even if it means paying off players to make room for new ones.I'm strangely optomistic despite all the negative **** flying around. A change of regime is desperately needed, a change of manager is a good start. HTL.

I threw away £73 yesterday on Poyet and was really cheesed off.

But I've just had a bit of good news, not the managers job, and hoping it's out tonight.
well we all need some hope after yesterday's events and match mate hopefully we get some good news

It's about to change mate.

I was knocked back, yesterday, but I'm just waiting for some really exciting news.

A few people believe it but no one is posting.

The end is nigh ...

I don’t know whether I could cope with another hangover this week, so please moderate the positive news for a couple of days .
Having said that don’t be negative because that would drive me to drink.
