I see a few people on the other side having a few digs at me again I held my hands up I said I got the names wrong,

but On the 18th of October I messaged @Wheatsheaf this

‘I haven’t got a clue at the minute mate, all I keep getting now about FPP is the have to be involved,

but what I’ve been
Told is
New shares In

Donald and CM to keep share
Sartori and new people to have majority

new people have a lot of money’
From what I can gather, no one could accuse you of being vague in your predictions, you were certainly specific! I've never really read this board before so I've missed loads. But given how wide of the mark those predictions were, do you think things have changed significantly or was someone giving you duff info?

This probably sounds more arsey than it is intended to!

I don’t believe duff info mate

100% fpp /Gf were in talks to buy the club during the summer, that’s not just from the club but the buying side,

that’s up for people to believe or not for them selfs

but it’s when some say I’m just making **** up and hanging on to the tails of the other ‘ITK’
I agree there info has been more up to date

Really hope it's Poyet with a sporting director. In the event it goes tits up with Poyet or he moves on to bigger things, we can replace him with a manager in the same mould.

One of main problems has just bee chopping and changing from style to style with no planning at all.

I would give Poyet time to embed his style, it won't be easy with these plodders but we might actually get to see a possession based, attacking team using our good younguns like Embleton, Diamond and Neil alongside Gooch, Willis, O'Nien and co.

One thing we have overlooked with all the excitement is there is still suggestions that there is another getting on board with the takeover. Its been alluded too on here and in the media. Anyone heard any more?

you’re right - just to build on that tho, I don’t know if there’s any indication that person is coming on board pre-announcement. May be something tentatively planned for future. Perhaps somebody to buy CM and SDs remaining shares once the price makes sense

I wonder if it could be the loan being converted into shares. That would be increyable anawl.

Perhaps the FPP loan is still somehow held against Madrox’s remaining shares? And they’ve been negotiating how to change the security against that loan so that it’s just Madrox’s ownership of equity that is held as security rather than the stadium / training ground (as no way KLD would allow that).

Haven’t begun to think about the logic or maths behind that but just popped into my head as a reason Madrox may be retaining 30-40%. and would explain why all the talk early on involved FPP if they had to agree a way to make that loan work in the new structure

so basically Donald and Methven (and a bit of Sartori) would still owe FPP £9m, and they’re banking on being able to sell their remaining bits for a lot more than that, to pay it off.

whereas FPP are ready to just write off the loan and swap it for their equity if things don’t suddenly improve

it’s a plus for Donald and co as it essentially guarantees them £9m for this final chunk. And it’s a plus for FPP as it’s given them a down payment and first option to buying that final chunk.

Very happy with Gus. Loved by the players and staff. Nice, clear style of football which the players appeared thrive under. He'd be working under his mate Sartori so a seemingly better relationship than he had with short. People focus on 'the Bradford' game or 'the Southampton game' and forget the Wembley final, the journey there, dare to dream and the 'passing man united off the park at old trafford', 'breaking Jose Mourhino's Chelsea home record'. I am straight on the Gus Bus!!

I'm not being deliberately negative here, but the "Bradford game", the "Southampton game", the "4-0 down at half time against Villa at home game" all came the season after the League Cup final and the outplaying Man U at Old Trafford, and to be honest most of that season was awful and getting steadily worse and he didn't look like he knew how to change it. Its why I'm not fully on board the Gus bus. If he gets it, I'll back him fully, just as I've done with every manager we've had, even the ones I've had doubts about like Parkinson and Grayson, but personally I'd rather we went for Pearson.
