You / all of our love for this football club is still their, its just a relationship that going through a very very bad patch, once this takeover goes through we will all be itching to get the relationship back on track & go on some proper dates (games) we can enjoy.

You honestly wouldn’t believe how difficult it is at the moment for me. But we will go again!
I don't know if there is or not...fingers crossed we hear clarification of the structure of the people or consortium when the deal is signed.
It’ll always be there, however much we want to detach, the sods will always drag us back. And actually we wouldn’t have it any other way. Nor would the people who conned us into supporting us (in my case, and probably similar for so many, me dad) have it any other way.

Ravanelli was the highest paid player in England at the time, his agreement even meant that they paid his tax, national insurance, utility bills, council tax and so on.

Did a week in Lugano for work. We flew into Milan then got the train to Lugano. Stunning train ride mind. Hell of a place. They had Ferrari dealership as I recall. They were doing a decent trade too.

People on RTG arguing that it's not really a takeover, the Chronicle saying it's not the right kind of takeover and the Echo quoting a list of doom mongers who were straight onto the internet casting doubts about every possible aspect of the deal.

The thing I find most interesting is the its been worded in all the media, on the face of it as its suggested it’s simply a new investor buying a majority share of the club. Yet its described as him and sartori leading a consortium which is very odd since sartori already owns a fifth of the club anyway and I’d be surprised to see him increase that stake.
So to me either sartori is trying to distance himself from charlie and donald or as keith from sky described it, the consortium includes Juan Sartori and Kyril Louise-Dreyfus which suggests they know of more people involved.

You are so so right Janey! Football isn't what it used to be (for loads of reasons) and I'm not liking some of the directions it's going in. BUT Sunderland AFC will always be a huge part of me. My kids will not escape this inherent passion either. I think I'd be neglecting my fatherly responsibilities if I 'let them off' with it. I pray they'll thank me for it one day.
