Depending on which one it happens to be that day <laugh>

Its of no concern to you like. As much as you think your the opinion police on here you aint

You are at times no better than the people you pull apart over the road. Dropping arsey comments in that aint needed. If you dont like my opinion scroll past it. I realise that gives you minimum attention though

But that's all happened.

Not that I've seen. People buy the streams, are paying the direct debits and using the code to watch the streams etc. Not that I'm proposing that action, but I might if I thought there's nobody looking to buy the club, meanwhile they wrote off £20m of their debt to the club and wanna sell for ~£37m.

I'm not dropping in arsey comments.

I'm simply reminding you of what you've been saying, your words mate.

I think they'll be close to selling. They've officially mentioned the stage of the takeover talks as the reason for cancelling. If they just wanted to kick the can down the road they could have come up with some other reason which didn't bring the takeover to the forefront.

If they held the meeting tomorrow they could bat away takeover questions by saying exactly what they'd said previously (exclusivity with one party, can't talk because of NDA, hope for more news soon). Equally when discussion turned to the manager they could point to a decent start points-wise. In many ways the meeting would be easier now than it likely will be a few weeks down the line.

Its also now put them in a position where its not just rumours , it's them cancelling meetings the EFL says they have to hold, specifically because of a takeover. I think the RAWA statement should leave people in no doubt that, if nothing happens, the next meeting will be a hell of a lot more uncomfortable for the club. They've mentioned the fans desire for further action, the owners are running out of time.

There doesn't always have to be a conspiracy theory. I think it's very likely that the takeover is at a late stage, they don't want to risk anything ****ing it up, and they know its pointless talking about a lot of the issues that would be raised because in all likelihood they won't be the ones dealing with them. I'll be very surprised if we go into December with the same owners.

In which case you having been reading these forums ...

... there's been loads of posts, even threads on the subject.

Where I'm really struggling to grasp your concept is this ...

... do you believe Donald doesn't want to sell and all of this is some huge charade?

This very morning you were expecting it to drag on beyond Christmas!

Smug has been consistent in his thoughts that this takeover is happening. Seems like you have now seen the light.

You were fairly adamant nothing was happening and have now turned to

No offence taken. I'm no ones lapdog.

My job involves being forensic, so I notice people who's behaviour changes.

Well to put your mind at rest of course something is happening how long its taking is doing 90% of our heads in. Nobody will be happier than me if it goes through and without my sarcastic hat on i believe it will

Any action, boycotting streams, club shop, cancelling direct debits, kicking up **** on twitter. Remember, they might need the fans for next season.

You can continuously talk about talks advancing for months, Nick Barnes implied it was going to the EFL about 6 weeks ago!

Did he? I missed that. Knew he'd mentioned being in exclusivity but hadn't seen owt from him about EFL.

You just came across as his little lap dog there

No offence mate
Smug has been consistent in saying the takeover is ON as has quite a number of other posters , other posters have changed their views at regular intervals of which you are one , they are entitled to their opinions but their is no need to post derogatory remarks about other posters such as this post . Be sensible some of the posters are well respected on the Forum , Smug in particular is a very good posters and an avid SAFC fan posts sensibly which is why he is so well supported by fellow posters and has earned the respect of most people on the Forum -Think before you post .

I've posted on RTG for around 13 years, lurked here now for a few month but its the best place for info currently! Hello all. Hopefully we're nearing the turning point for this rudderless club. New men with a new direction and a clear plan of how they're going to do it. It can be hard as a lads fan to let yourself believe at times but as ever its the hope I can't stand. Ha'way the takeover!

Welcome fella
