welcome

I fear the club is currently not just rudderless but we also only have half a paddle. Hopefully about to get ourselves a speedboat mind

I do hope you're right marra. The club has felt a pretty hopeless place post Allardyce.

I've posted on RTG for around 13 years, lurked here now for a few month but its the best place for info currently! Hello all. Hopefully we're nearing the turning point for this rudderless club. New men with a new direction and a clear plan of how they're going to do it. It can be hard as a lads fan to let yourself believe at times but as ever its the hope I can't stand. Ha'way the takeover!

Most on here are actual Sunderland fans who don't see a bit of hope and faith as a reason to have a pop at people ...

... hope you enjoy being here mate :emoticon-0148-yes:

My other favourite argument is “they’re kicking a can down the road, nobody is buying a club during Covid”.

It’s an argument that itself makes no sense

Tell me what would be easier if you wanted to cling onto the club until promotion to the championship:

a) have the club “up for sale” but periodically tell fans that no bidders are forthcoming in this climate

b) have the club “up for sale” but make up two mystery bidders (Storey and one other) and then have the takeover fall through later
