I’ve just seen someone post on Northumberland Sunderland Supporters on Facebook (I know!) to get the cans in for 10th November and that the takeover is as good as done.

He said Rodwell and Jones were furious with Parky’s post match comments on Tuesday and Donald and Parky are as good as gone!
He’s right about Rodwell and jones

Havent been keeping an eye tbh havent even had first half on.

Bollocks to even a 10a in their pockets.

When I was a kid living in Boldon Colliery scraps with the top street gang was a regular occurrence, loved pinching wood from their bonfire before 5th. Happy days. What made it more enjoyable was them being Skunk fans.
Boldon Colliery gods little acre lol

Apologies for going off topic but this thread has the most eyes on it. I'm after some advice re season tickets. I've kept up direct debits up until now in the hope we would be let back in at some point soon, but that doesn't seem to be happening any time soon and rightfully so as it needs to be completely safe for everyone's health. I have a very young family and unfortunately cant keep paying for something that we're not getting, yes we get refunds eventually but at the moment I can't justify chunks of money coming out of my account. So, if I were to cancel my DD, have I lost my seat or do I keep it my seat and resume payments once we're allowed back in. Thank you in advance.

Be careful with that mate and definitely ask Chris Waters about it, I'm sure I've heard people saying that if you cancel the DD you lose the right to a refund for the games that have already happened

Well I am falling out with everyone Sarge, I hate you, I hate you, I hate you all. Supposed to be going to Gran Canaria tomorrow, had it booked ages ago after our Mexico trip was cancelled and it after being added to UK safe travel last week, looks like Boris wants to lock us down next week. I’m not sure how that would affect holidaymakers though so **** it. I’m off to East Mids later today, listen to the footy on he way down and then wait for the announcement some time next week, fingers crossed

Enjoy it mate. No good worrying about outcomes that are out of your control. Hope you've packed your Knotted hanky.

Can you post any snippets what you’ve heard mate, I know some things you have to keep back though.
Sorry mate badly worded
Just meant loads of people have been telling me there are important talks going on today but no one seems to have any detail or further info.
Just wondering if its a Chinese whisper got out of hand
or if any of the lads with contacts on hear know if its true

Cheers mate, hopefully all the things that’s been said between all the lads on here and yourself will shortly come to fruition

If it's not sorted by the end of next week, I am very concerned.

Let's see. There is an agreement verbally but tomorrow is an important day in terms of taking it further.

Fingers crossed.

@sheepman and others - the above post was where the “talks today” came from.

It's a difficult situation mate.

I was told about an 'Internet meeting' on Tuesday but chose not to post it.

Then someone said they'd heard about a face to face meeting today in London.

So I posted what I'd been told as it seemed to make my info more plausible.

They were both quite specific bits of info and there's no harm in posting. I did say, in my post, 'let's all hope it's true'.

If I'm told something, by someone who has no need to impress me, I can either believe it but say nothing, believe it and post it or choose not to believe it. On this occasion I thought it was worth posting and hope it's true ...

... not so I can say how clever I am, but so we can all move on.
