It's quite serious and I'm told HMRC are asking for documents prior to Ashley buying the club.

The fee for Joelinton was mentioned as well which could be interesting.

I don't know what the penalties could be but they've put thousands of man hours into it so must feel condiment.
Sauce?

They've messed up a few football cases, Redknapp, etc, so need a result.
Well they've been looking for about 2 years. Slow bunch of investigators ffs

The mags are using blocking and stalling tactics, mate. They tried to have some information dismissed by the courts, only to lose that battle, but are still stalling as much as possible. Refusing to release requested documents, which incurs additional fines and charges, is one thing they keep doing, lodging protests and objections to drag it out as long as they can. But all it does is make it look even more that there's something to hide. I've got a couple of friends who work for HMRC who've told me a little bit that's going on. Not much, but it isn't going away anytime soon, if anything it's ramping up more and more

Sadly the fines for failing to release documents aren't enough for PL clubs to worry about.

They'd cripple a restaurant or a tradesman, but its not a massive problem for Ashley who loves to be belligerant.

My info says FPP are still involved but they may not be the buyers.

All I was told is that Fuhrman wants a resolution and that Donald is no longer running the club.

Believe me mate, I'm as frustrated as you but the people who tell me things don't take kindly to the likes of me demanding answers <laugh>
No worries mate I’m sure it’ll ll be out sooner rather than later. I’m intrigued to know why November 10th is a cut off point though.

The only reason I'm here is for the ITK. The idea that you'd hold someone to something they've been told and passed on is laughable to me. The solution is easy though, if you're that way inclined. Don't read forums and wait for official announcements. It's what the vast majority actually do. It's a weird kind of self flagellation to read forums and spend your time getting angry and screaming "I don't believe you" rather than just not reading them.

It seems to me some people want a takeover to fail so that they can say na na na na na to @Prehab26 @Smug in Boots and @Magnus
I love reading any snippet. All we want is someone to run the club well and get us moving forward. I fall into the reasonably long suffering fan so just want some good news.
When SD came in I was taken in by the chat and the good feeling but the standard of the team and the lack of leadership has caught up with him.
Keep up the snippets. God knows we all need some positivity in these difficult times.

It would be splendid it came against the Mags.
