***** RUMOUR INCOMING *****

A mate, who posts on RTG but not here, has messaged to say he's heard from a good source.

The gist is that Donald has approached a club in the south, obviously, regarding a takeover.

That fits with another message I got but, of course, these rumours do get passed around and become 'common knowledge' ...

... still, it would be good if Donald feels he's able to start spending his lottery win before the cheque's dropped through the letterbox.
That'll be Eastleigh. Was rumoured a few weeks back, so good to hear it from you Smug :emoticon-0148-yes:

to be fair, if we got promoted in the first season and he flipped us for a decent profit would have been a success for him, last min goal in PO final and falling apart in the last few games screwed that plan over
Watch the last two episodes of Netflix season 2 and see what stress does for you...

Pretty sure he inherited his father's business mind.
He did, but he hasn't ruined it, and has other successes. We are hurt and overreacting, stupid name calling etc. Been incessant and very little substance. The squad has underperformed so not all his fault. Anyway, old ground and can't be bothered going over it again.

He's been a total failure at Sunderland mate, nothing he promised materialised.

He's lost money, momentum and the support.

We're in our third L1 season playing dreary football and not in the promotion places.

His appointments have been poor and he replaced a boring Scottish manager with his English equivalent.

Hard to find much in the way of success tbh ...

... I don't want to name call, just wave him bye bye.

It'll be either Oxford...whether that be United or City.......that's another story.

Aye, I could see that mind. Poor Eastleigh if it’s them. Donald made a rank bad job of it there last time you’d have to question why he thinks he’s better suited to it now.
That said, as long as he’s not here I won’t mind so long as he sells us to FPP/GF or similar.
