Smug's agenda? The only thing that smug is guilty of is passing on some information that he has received from others who have contacted him in some way, he openingly admits that the info he has been given could be inaccurate, he is just passing it on in good faith. Nice one for trying to get the thread back on track. That would take us back to it being Sartori buying out Donald against the grain of what others are saying.
Bear in mind that Bob says FPP buying the majority of shares isn't a takeover.
If Donald, as Bob claims, is inviting investment he'd need the agreement of FPP unless he repays the £10m.
Would anyone be willing to 'invest' by paying off a loan then putting in a similar amount without owning the club ...

Didn't make the connection that Robert was Bob! Haha! Dont know the guy but keep an eye on his comments and not long ago was insisting nothing at all was happening, and doesn't seem to know what a takeover is. I feel confident the other bits of information that has come out is more accurate!
The info I trust is the few bits I get from non-football people, no agenda or wish to impress.
The game has always been riddled with gossip, fans 'hearing things' and ex-players wanting to appear relevant.

All true, you've got the same info as me (et al) and have taken the pessimistic view of, t's not happening.
Fair enough but why keep saying it when it's obvious everybody else on the thread has taken the opposite view.
Unless you've got new info, "I don't believe" is really only worth saying once, unless you're trying to annoy people.

Some people are pessimists but want to be wrong so keep coming back, some people are just determined to have polar views and get a kick out of the fight. I personally think Dancingstripes sounds like the former, genuine fan wanting good news but expecting the worst. There is so much about this takeover that is unusual so breeds a wealth of views.
One thing is for certain it is breading alot of emotions!
Which is often the root cause of “bun fights”. ;-)
