The sceptic in me thinks "yeh they're just improving the digital offering to attract more subscribers and it will pay for itself".

But the wifi in the stadium feels like an investment that didn't need to be made. Which is a very interesting development.

If you don't like somebody's opinion, don't try and belittle them by claiming they are a poster with multiple accounts.

It makes the forum unattractive to post on and it also defeats the object of debate.

I totally agree but, by some crazy coincidence, I've just had a message from someone who knows Methven.

It's saying the deal is close to being finalised.

I don't normally post 'info' from this lad, as he's Sunderland daft and even more rose tinted than me, but he's insisting it's first hand info and genuine. That's all I know and I'm just off to do a couple hours work. I'll post any update when I'm back so fingers crossed.

In fairness I get it. It’s not up to you to prove that a takeover isn’t happening, rather it’s up to the others who are making these claims to prove that it is. Now, ‘the others’ have all posted information that suggests that it is. Also, being a cop, I know that the last thing anyone should do is betray their source, so based on all the evidence that I’ve read I’d say the intel that we’re being fed is consistent and most likely meaning that at the very least negotiations for the club are happening.

Owned by NBA looks like to date they only work with American Sports teams. Very unlike Sunderland to hook up with something so progressive.

I got the impression that he meant nda's asked for by buyer, seller, lawyers, etc, etc, so that some people are covered by one of their own and one of someone else's at the same time.

I suspect this was because of the 'SunDelland' fiasco last time when Donald lost his head.
