It's fine for people to say it's £37m, which he can afford, so he should get on with it. Perhaps but there's much more to spend on ending contracts, replacing staff, academy, wages, renovations, etc and now all on the back of little income.
This is why Ashley has failed to get Newcastle off his hands. £300m is supposed to be a bargain, according to the Nation, but the ground and training facilities are rotten. The stadium needs millions spending, the squad is average at best and there's an HMRC case hanging over the club.
Buying SAFC would cost around £70/80 million. Perhaps us supporters could raise £37 million but not have the money to pay McGeady's first month's wages.
Donald has no chance at £37m ...
... Fuhrman and every other potential buyer knows that so won't pay.
