Some of the biggest rivals in business do deals with each other. Hostile takeovers are commonplace and money is the sole issue, not whether the two parties are lovey dovey or not.
I think this 'problem' is just a smokescreen because Gray doesn't have any intention of buying the club. He didn't when Short was selling and doesn't now imo, it's all flannel.
