I don't post on RTG because every time I've lurked there it's seemingly been people either over-reacting to stuff or having petty squables, and it seemed impossible to follow any threads as you had to search through 4-5 pages to find a post worth reading.

When I found out about this place (when people on twitter were talking about Barnes only knowing stuff because he read it on 606) I googled this place and it looked far more accessible (smaller, less posts in threads and everyone seemed to have their heads screwed on etc) so I joined. I've reacted twice to the NQD vs the forum debate in basically suggesting I think the squabbling is pointless and why can't we all just be friends :D, but that's for some reason been interpreted as meaning I must know him.

I guess NQD was attracted on the same day for the same reason (it was the first time I'd ever seen not606 referenced on twitter and I'm fairly active there). I definitely don't know him, in fact as I mentioned previously I know very few Sunderland fans as I've never lived further north than Stevenage.

No, thats rubbish. You can't fool us on here. You and Kittens and NQD are all clearly the same person, you probably just don't realise it. You're probably William Storey too.

I think with Dave Jones involvement Sky will currently be under a gagging agreement with Sky with them getting exclusive access once it's announced if they comply.

All Sky outlets have been very quiet on this takeover including Keef but I can see it getting excellent coverage once it's done.

Pretty certain Kittens said his lass was a high flying executive that was involved in brokering sporting business deals or such like, leading me to believe that NQD source could well be his lass.

ETA:
I've been sniffing out sock puppets, duplicate accounts and general bellendry on't tinterweb for years now. It's a gift from above I tell ya.

My only discomfort with the NQD situation, as a fellow newbie, is that it took just one post with him disagreeing with the status quo, for him to then be piled on. He got quite defensive about it which was partly understandable at first.

The way he went on did not help whatsoever and I’m glad he’s getting a breather. But it did strike me as odd the way he was immediately shouted down. Didn’t find it massively welcoming.

Just some honest, no agenda feedback from a newbie who’d never heard of this forum until last week

2 days after you join, as a 'newbie' you're having a go at the board ...

... but you're a naive little Sunderland lad only wanting to have some happy crack with fellow supporters.

I think you're a liar tbh.

Prove me wrong and I'll happily apologise.

What's your connection to Sunderland?

Some people create emergency accounts for fear of the ban hammer, usually if one goes they put another into play immediately, some behave some don't. Usually the mods or admins can checkout the IP address or other such methods, don't think they ban them unless of course the poster continues to be an utter cnut.

Re your last point - My mum is from Belmont and is a massive lads fan, my dad from Torquay and is a massive Torquay fan. Didn't have much choice. I tried supporting Spurs for a while like all my mates but then my mum took me to Roker Park and I was awe struck.

I'm pretty transparent. I'm also @adamguest on twitter if anybody wants to check me out (feels odd for people to think I'd pretend to be somebody I'm not!!)

I do find the desperate attempts at "outing" people. My "crime" here ffs was pointing out that squabbling with somebody who wasn't taking a hint was pointless. That must mean I'm a WUM apparently.

And I was "having a go" because I'd just joined and the first thing I saw was somebody posting an alternative opinion to what people wanted to be heard and he was therefore being accused of being somebody else on a wind up.

And me posting that I found that behaviour odd has somehow led to me being accused of being somebody else.

It's a little paranoid, no? I'm pretty legit.

This page is a joke

Why do people think they are able to walk around as though they are the sheriff? Trying to pull people down at every chance they get.
